Ditch my imature friends?

im reposting this for a little more input -

so im 15 starting my freshman year in higschool, and im completely sick of my friends. ive grown up with the same groiup of friends, people come and go, and i feel liek i grown past them. im embarrassed at lunch to sit with them beciuase all they do is wrestle and ****ing throw their food aty eachother through the hallway. while i sit ignoring them and try to have a meaningful conversation with someone. im not uptight or a jackass, infact i im better than them in everyway like theyre latching onto me for a leader. i feel like they are ruining my highschool years and i really just need new friends who i like.

can anyone give me advice on how to ditch them and find new friends? im also afraid that i cant ever get any other friends for some reason. please help!

has anone else dealt with anything similar or how their highschool years were?

explain to them how you feel and tell them you wanna get to know other people. join clubs or something to meet new people. branch out to the people you wanna get to know. talk to them, and show them you're not immature like your other friends. just give it time and make sure your friends know how you feel so they aren't hanging around you all the time when you try to meet new people. good luck!

Here are two ways to deal with this-

Mature way: Tell them that you are uncomfortable being with them and they are very immature and you don't like how they act.

Immature way: Give them the cold shoulder and if they talk to you just look away.
You don't need to ditch or be rude to them, all you've got to do is try to be busy and be very much involved with the school activities, studies and programs that can separate them from you and would give you opportunity to meet new friends that has the same outlook just like you.
Don't ditch them. They may have a maturity growth spurt and you'll be sorry. Simply, try to branch out a little and hang out with your new friends half the time and you old friends half the time. Join clubs or a sports team and keep yourself busy.
